Project: Brooklyn Union Burial Ground

Located on Broadview Road near Spring Road, it is one of the earliest burial places in the area south of Big Creek, with the oldest grave dating to 1821. Originally part of the Brainard farm, it has been known as the Brainard (Brainerd) Burial Ground, Brooklyn Union Burial Ground, and Broadview Cemetery. HSOB members have acted as caretakers and arranged for a rededication in 2002.
